About the Role

GoGet is currently seeking a highly motivated Loss Controller within its Fleet Department. This position will play a key role on loss prevention and loss management. Primary duties involve debt recovery, analysing and investigating suspicious/fraudulent accounts and recovery of vehicles. You will be responsible for managing incidents across the fleet, as well as interacting with members in various aspects of loss and fraud control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing effective customer service in a timely, courteous and professional matter including     
  • Answer queries and questions received from members and third parties through the damage email account or call centre 
  • Chasing payment for damage from members or third parties, and where necessary negotiating payment plans
  • Escalating long term unpaid debt to an external debt collection agency
  • Preparation of reports to analyse fraud trends to better inform business decisions on tactics to prevent fraudulent activity
  • Enforcing the rules of GoGet membership agreement and Damage reporting policies
  • Gather all of the relevant information and complete documentation for a claim
  • Liaise with multiple smash repairers, dealerships and insurance companies to get our vehicles repaired and back on the road for member use

Essential Skills

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, self-motivated and has a positive attitude. A huge advantage in this role will be a desire to look for ways to improve processes, utilise technology and be able to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving incidents.

In addition to this you will need to:

  • Effectively prioritise your workload
  • Be detail focused
  • Objectively analyse and question fraud cases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be comfortable in dealing with difficult conversations
  • Have patience and resilience when dealing with members who dispute our policies
